By Plane - nearest airport - Geneva. Flight time approximately 1 hour 40 mins. Try Easyjet for cheap flights www.easyjet.com . From Geneva, you can either hire a car or arrange to be picked up (at extra cost). The journey to the chalet takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. To drive from Geneva - head down to town centre and the lake and drive along the south side of the lake to Thonon - N5. From Thonon, take the D902 to Morzine, after approximately 10 km, take the first exit at the big roundabout - D22 to Abondance and Chatel. Go through Chapelle d'Abondance and carry on towards Chatel. After about 2 km, there is a turn off to Pré la Joux on the right - do not take this - continue straight on to Chatel but be ready to turn sharp right into a small entrance after about 100m. You will see a distinctive chalet with red and white windows on your right. Continue down this narrow road and you will reach Chalet Bienvenue on your right after another 100m. |
