The chalet Bienvenue, Chatel, Haute Savoie, France is a wonderfully placed Chalet available to rent all year round.

Chalet lies in an unspoilt, sunny valley on the border of the French/Swiss Alps near the village of Chapelle d'Abondance.  Chapelle is a 5 minute drive from the traditional ski resort of Chatel.

Chatel is a traditional village, as yet unspoilt by commercialism.  It is situated at the top of the Vallee d'Abondance and the views are spectacular.  A truly French resort, Chatel is located on the border with Switzerland, and is 1 hour 20 mins drive from Geneva airport. The picturesque village has good facilities, including plenty of shops and some very good restaurants, serving typical French cuisine and Savoyard specialities. There are also  cinemas and discos as well as bars and pubs.

Chatel is approximately 2 miles from Chalet Bienvenue by car.
The village of Chapelle d'Abondance is a  mile down the valley.  It has a good selection of restaurants and a few shops.
